Learn French Verbs App Reviews

Great app and helpful

I have tried to get off the free and purchase the full app but it is not available. This really would be very helpful in my French classes but there are only 101 verbs. That is hardly enough to do much good.

Breath of fresh air

I am pleased to find an app that offers something different and uses colours and sound to help me learn the French verbs. Entertaining and useful app.

learn bots

i just love this app. the pronunciation of the conjugations are invaluable. pronunciations change with conguation and to be able to hear the nuances of the different pronuncations is great. i would like to see the list of verbs explanded with their corresponding. an inapp puchase or another app i would purchase in a flash.

Learnbots

Helpful, but limited. Paid for the upgrade but didnt receive it. Is the upgrade available?

Requires an Internet connection to pronounce words!

Thanks for leaving me in the lurch in France. If I wanted to pay for an Internet connection, then I wouldnt need your app, would I? I could just use google translate for free.

English instructions are grammatically incorrect.

App is OK but its hard to trust when the native language grammar is wrong.

Learn French

Awesome!

Learnbots

I understand the update now. Love the app. Great learning tool. I would like them to add more verbs.

Good for refrence, eh for learning

Ok software. I dont really care for the animations. Better for refrence when youre learning with other resources. *My bigest pet peeve - When you change tenses, the root verb pops up over what tenses youre looking at. You have to wait 4 seconds to see which conjugation youre looking at. Sounds minor, but its very annoying.

LearnBots - marvelous verb DRILL app for speaking automaticity

As a modern language teacher with students from various language groups, I am thrilled to finally find a verb DRILL app that covers all main tenses and makes the patterns of the language obvious in a graphic format WITH AUDIO! Learners can check their immediate recall AND application of the verbs. 15 up dates in one year! And so many languages, so many verbs. Most verb apps just show parts or massive whole, with no PRACTICE element but Learnbots allows isolation, drill. I wish you HUGE success and Im sharing this with all the teachers I know in our iPad conferences.

Terrible

Its not worth the price. Its complete even if you buy it.

Love it but needs more verbs

I really love the way this app works. Fun, educational, and easy. It needs many, many more verbs added to the data base though.

Quizzes?

It will be helpful when I am in France but can not figure out how to do the quizzes

Great way to learn conjugations

Freezes occasionally but overall an excellent app. One of the few that has audio for each conjugation, which is invaluable when trying to learn a language. Merci beaucoup!

App doesnt do anything....

It is a table of conjugations of a verb. If you touch a verb there is a pronunciation (it is correct French). Thats it. Doesnt do what it says it does. No "teaching" or anything. Bad release or abandoned product?

Pretty good thingy

This app is pretty good, its helpful for homework, because its a good reference tool without just doing the work for you. I havent come across and bugs, it seems to work pretty well.

Not For Anyone Over a Beginner’s Level

I got this app because it was "on sale” for $2.99. Had I known it included only 100 verbs, I would not have bought it. I’m at an upper intermediate level, and this app is suitable for beginners, maybe. Despite its own claims, the app does not include any real teaching function. The animation is juvenile (so maybe appealing to the young). The verb list is woefully tiny and includes some strange choices (like “filmer” and “polir”) while omitting essential verbs like “conifer,” “devoir,” “dire,” “accouter,” and many more. This deficit was noted in a review from 2012 (which I foolishly failed to read before purchase — my bad). To be truly useful, this app should include, in my opinion, a minimum of 500 verbs. Maybe make another app for adults with 500 verbs and minus the crappy animation.

Excellent app.

Have enjoyed this app especially the pronunciation throughout all the tenses. A must for beginner and mid level learners. Do wish it had more verbs. Well done!
